Paddle Boarding in the Ozark Mountains!

Paddle boarding on a river offers its own kind of renewal and energy. The flow of the water, the wildlife, the history are all part of this magical experience. Every time I have paddle boarded on a river that runs through miles of wilderness, mountains and beautiful terrain I feel renewed, energized. The Kings River starts in the Boston Mountains of Arkansas and runs 90 miles north to Table Rock Lake in Missouri. Launch sites, camping and kayak and paddle board rentals are available at Kings River Outfitters and Trigger Gap Outfitters. Here are some images from the summer of 2023 where Sheree Lincoln, the founder of Paddle Board Near Me spent the season paddle boarding the Kings River and Beaver Lake. Scroll down to read more about their season there.

Paddle Boarding In Eureka Springs Arkansas

Update 2025: Sheree Lincoln and husband James “Kingsawin” Reed spent the summer of 2023 guiding paddle boarding tours on the Kings River and exploring Beaver Lake in Eureka Springs Arkansas. They camped at Eagles Roost Campground on the Kings for three months where they guided and photographed adventures. They fell in love with the area and plan to be back. Both are experienced paddle boarders, sailors, kayakers and watermen. For eight years Sheree co-owned a kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding Outfitters in Northern Michigan offering river trips and rentals on a Class I/II spring fed river, the 40 mile chain of lakes, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and more. Sheree’s favorite place to paddle board was the Sturgeon River from Wolverine, Michigan to Indian River. It had been a hot minute since she offered those trips and she was so excited to be back on a river for the summer.

Sheree and James hope to be back in Eureka Springs again later this year. First, they are spending the summer in Michigan coinciding with the arrival of Sheree’s second grand child.
